What made you want to start your blog?

"I was a semi-professional gymnast and when I stopped doing sports I basically needed a new hobby. So I just started sharing my life through photos and music on blogspot in 2009. I didn’t have any goals to be honest as it was only my hobby back then. I was laughed at school by people who found out. For me, it was just fun to have a space to share my thoughts and creativity. I sometimes still don’t realize that I make a living with my hobbies."

 

What are your inspirations for your looks?

"I find a lot of inspiration on the street, people surrounding me and strangers all over the world. I also love browsing on Pinterest."

Do you have any tips for finding and wearing beautiful vintage clothes ?

"It takes time and effort ! I developed an eye over the years for thrifting online. I scroll through hundreds of products each week scanning for certain fabrics and shapes. It’s a learning process."

How important is sustainability to you when you shop or when you choose to collaborate with a brand?

“It’s pretty important. Most of my clothing and accessories I thrift, or when I buy or wear something new, I make sure it will last a long time. I don’t really follow trends while shopping and prefer wearing things for years to come.”

Can you pick a piece of jewellery you can’t live without? What’s your favourite COURBET collection or piece of jewellery?

"It’s hard to pick one if I’m being honest. I love my rings and necklaces the most, but also feel empty when I’m not wearing any earrings. I love mixing and matching everything. From gold and silver to bringing in enamel or pearls, depending on my mood. More yellow gold in the summer and white gold or silver in winter. The Wedding band 2.3mm full pavé set in yellow gold is my favourite COURBET piece of jewellery, I wear it every single day.”
