The C and the O, as a leitmotiv

The Pont des Arts collection was designed by Marie-Ann Wachtmeister. It refers to the well- known Pont des Arts in Paris, where locals and tourists strolling by have been attaching padlocks as a testimony of love for years.

The distinctive railings of the bridge can be found in the structure of the jewel. At the back of the padlock, an opening in the shape of an Eiffel Tower lets the light shine through to give the diamond an extra sparkle. On each side of it, couples can have their initials engraved. An ode to France, to Paris and to love.

The first two letters of Courbet are a C and an O. Two letters that, combined, convey togetherness in words such as cohesion, cooperation, connection... The lock of the Pont des Arts collection recreates the symbolic CO of Courbet that can also be found, in multiple forms, in nearly every jewellery collection of the Maison.
