Icône: rings that redifine the lines

It is no longer named, as its sculptural silhouette has over time become a cornerstone of COURBET creations. Let's take a look back at the history of an extraordinary piece of jewellery: the Icône ring.

The first designs of the Icône ring were created by Marie-Ann Wachtmeister shortly after COURBET was founded.

Seeking a ring design that could serve both as an engagement ring and for everyday wear, she drew inspiration from the reverse architecture of Parisian classicism on Place Vendôme and Haussmannian buildings. While COURBET has cultivated an avant-garde spirit for over five years, it needed a ring that reflected this uniqueness.

Blending Art Deco lines with minimalist brutalism, the Icône ring redefines the traditional solitaire by creating a sense of floating, almost levitating, around a magnificent lab-grown Brilliant-cut diamond. On each side, a minimalist structure crafted from 18K recycled gold elevates the power of this timeless piece of jewellery.
