Creating has always been a part of her. Drawing, painting, then editing, scanning, retouching, Agathe Clément touches on everything, and above all does not like to choose. It is against the backdrop of the skyline of a large American city that COURBET has established its first links with this self-taught artist at the crossroads of the arts, to interpret her latest collection: TENNIS.
"I'm not looking for perfect photos, I like the raw side, the grain of the image..."
Agathe Clément draws her inspiration from 1970s and 1980s photography, pop art and African-American culture. Better than the Internet, her real image bank is the urban environment that surrounds her, street art and the singular personalities she meets. From this base, colourful works are born, where shapes and scale games waltz with icons of yesterday and today. At the crossroads of the plastic arts and digital art, Agathe Clément thwarts the codes. This was all it took to pique the curiosity of the ecological jeweller.

The bright colours of the diamonds created in the laboratory, the vintage inspiration and the contemporary style, TENNIS inspires Agathe Clément almost innately. But even more than the aesthetics of the collection, it is its history and the creative richness it exudes that guide her thinking. The result is a new facet of COURBET's identity composed of two original artworks, to be admired on the House's social networks and in the showroom at Place Vendôme.
