The gemological certificate
A diamond that enters the Place Vendôme has to show its true colours. Before stepping into COURBET's Appartment, it must present its gemological certificate to prove that it is the most beautiful, the most brilliant, the best cut and, above all, the most ethical.
COURBET diamond's ID
The gemological certificate provides very detailed information on the diamond's characteristics, from the 4Cs to the individual identification number. More importantly, it distinguishes a mined diamond from a lab-grown diamond, thus guaranteeing the ethical origin of the gemstone, far from any mine extraction with irreversible consequences for the environment, and therefore ensuring its traceability.
Every COURBET lab-grown diamond over 0.50 carat is accompanied by a gemmological certificate, issued by independent gemmological institutes such as the GIA or the IGI.
To guarantee excellence, the Maison applies very precise criteria. For its white diamonds, COURBET only chooses gemstones with a D, E or F colour, a clarity of at least VS1, and a superior cut quality.
